Probably the most photogenic of the lot is that of Hellulaug (above and following).

Another peculiarity to be found in the Westfjords is the hot spring of Heydalur (above). Guidetoiceland:
'Heydalur indoor poolAs far as I know this set up is similar to that of Manley, Alaska.
Greenhouse, as mentioned above Heydalur grow all of their own fruit and veg onsite in a converted sheep shed greenhouse. Inside their is a small lukewarm, traditional style swimming pool and much cosier hottub. Usually both are full of floating leaves from the trees and a green algae on the swimming pool walls'.

There's no time to be bored in a world as beautiful as this one.Today we did an excessively long road trip that consisted of over 12 hours towards northern Iceland. All just to get to this pool - only to find it empty and ready to bask in entirely to ourselves. #Iceland #DiscoverIceland
What follows is an arbitrary presentation of hot springs in the Westfjords. Sources used are hotpoticeland and the Thermal Pools in Iceland (Snaeland, J.G. & Þ. Sigurbjörnsdóttir's 2010). There doesn't seem to be any order, just enjoy.
Travelade (Jun. 16, 2017):
'Krosslaug refers to two geothermal pools close to the Birkimelur Settlement in the southern part of the Westfjords of Iceland. According to Thermal Pools in Iceland, which is by the way a great book for natural-bathing enthusiasts, the concrete swimming pool was built by the local youth association in 1948 [above]. The other one is a more “natural” looking hot tub, near to the seashore [following]'.

Right next to Gvendarlaug Natural Thermal Swimming Pool down some steps is the natural hot spring pool with just enough room for your nearest and dearest. That's the Hotel Laugarholl a family run guesthouse in the background. ….the highlights reel of social media can be very isolating, so I’m a big fan of writing honestly about life experiences, hoping it makes us all feel a little less alone and a little more understood. when you look at this photo i hope you see more than a naked human in a gorgeous place in the world. i hope you see someone who, against all odds of childhood trauma, lack of real education or family support and the deaths of the greatest loves of her life, has done her best. someone who has bear grylls'ed and macgyver'ed a pretty amazing life out of a broken pair of flip flop, monkey poop & some cheap wine. ..this photo is one of my favorite memories from iceland. the type of soft midnight where real life and dreams collide. the wine is finished, all thats left is perfect reflections on milky blue water, calm & content. I smile, I can’t help it. this life, this one life, I am happy and warm and doing brave things. i am being me. ..my mind wanders around in the various rooms of lifes experiences, part meditation, part healing. it sees me in the shower, a year ago, naked & crumpled on the floor, the sound of warm water & brokenness running over my body. I need to get out, I keep telling myself. I needed to find the strength. I feel lost. Lost love, lost innocence, lost clarity, lost control, lost the peace in just being me. lost from being in an unhealthy relationship, worn down and confused by the insecurities of another human i loved for longer than i should have. ..i watch the arctic sun caress the edges of the mountains, teasing them that it’s going to bed but finding all the romantic excuses not to. everything is soft and still and perfect. i am myself here. my adventurous, thoughtful, half damaged, beautiful, sometimes walled in self. the one that absorbs both the beauty and the pain of life, and does her best to turn them into something positive. I guess if you get anything from this photo i would like it to be that. the power in vulnerability. and the beauty that is just being yourself. ..Happy International Women’s Day my loves!
Never forget how beautiful and strong you are!#StillSheGoes #internationalwomensday#forceofnature

I'm quite intrigued by your request, as there is no information in this post other than mentioning the existence of the place as reported by others. I will though add your message above. I do note there is way more info on internet complete with GPS coordinates and all, maybe persuing these sources would be way more efficient.
