The very small chain of Vitae Wellness Centers in the Nertherlands has 1 of it's 2 centers on the outskirts of the west Brabant city of Roosendaal. This area is not really well served by competitve wellness complxes, let alone one connected to it's associate hotel.

Oddly located alongside a motorway on an industrial park, the wellness complex is shielded from the motorway by this associate hotel (Otium Wellness Hotel Roosendaal), with which it shares the reception.

This reception is very efficient, very guest friendly.

We arrived late in the afternoon with a last minute evening entry, neatly discounted.

One can enter Vitae Wellness Resort Roosendaal complex directly from hotel, but normally beyond the changing rooms, you'll come to the facilities. These comprise of three sauna's indoors, one steam room, an in/out pool, a special aufguss sauna, a neat outdoor panorama sauna and a couple of outdoor jacuzzi's. All complimeted by a very efficient run restaurant.

The saturday late afternoon of our visit was still quite busy, a smattering of all age groups. But after the Aufguss of 18:30, most left or retreated to the restaurant.

The 20:30 aufguss saw only about 20 or so die-hards. Music was a bit different (the sauna meister failed to expand), but the dance like nmovements provided a nice compliment to the music and process.

Overall a very good impression, I would rate it a 8.95, basically I felt that the lack of vegetarian choice limits a higher mark.

It was very clean, efficient and neatly layed out. Well maintained, though note that all was renovated in the beginning of 2024). Possibly if the wind is from the east, the noise of the motorway might be a distraction, but that's not what we experienced.

Blootkompass agrees, it was awarded as second best sauna complex of the Netherlands in 2026, the same as 2025. 130+ reviews indicate a 9.7!

The hotel also has good reviews. Google 4,5 stars (nearly 1500 reviews), booking.com: 8,5 (1250+ reviews) and Tripadvisor: 4.2 (18 reviews).
