🇬🇧Another thing I love. Hotsprings. I call them reversed waterfalls `cause: 1. Water is coming up instead of falling down 2. Water is pleasantly warm and not refreshingly cold 3. They are rather calm than wild. Pic was taken in Greece, Halkidiki, Eleftheres. 👌

🇸🇮Obrnjen slap. Kadar gre voda gor namesto dol, ko je topla namesto hladna in ko je mirna namesto divja = vrelec. To je pa idila za zimske dni. Grčija, Halkidiki, Eleftheres, zapuščen spa resort. Noro. 🥰

Another photographic quickie, sticking to the Mediterranean, more or less.

Starting off in northern Greece, the above gets very close to the Aegean coast, the following are more to the north on the borders with it's neighbours.

A new tradition perhaps, but you can find these hot springs relatively easy, so I'm not going to give the usual hints ...

Yesterday we visited a natural hot springs here in Sardinia, it’s an old Roman bath and it was amazing.
On a cold windy day taking our clothes off to get in to this 40 degree Celsius water felt amazing, made me sooo happy.
We stayed for over 2 hours by ourselves just relaxing in this natural spa.
Would you get in to this magical place in the middle of a field?

לכל מי ששאל על המעיינות החמים בים המלח:

1. מיקום - לרשום ב waze - מעיינות חמים נחל קדם

2. חניה - יש חניון עפר קטן צמוד מזרחית לכביש 90 (לא מומלץ לחנות בשוליים של כביש 90 גם כי זה מסוכן וגם כי נותנים דוחות).

3. הליכה למעיינות - מצורפת תמונה עם הסבר. הליכה נוחה של כ 7 דקות, 3-4 דקות צפונה ואז יורדים מזרחה לכיוון החוף.

4. מעיינות - יש מספר רב של מעיינות בעומקים ובטמפרטורות שונות ומה שבעיקר ינחה את הבחירה שלכם יהיה על בסיס מקום פנוי 😉. אנחנו מצאנו אחד פנוי רדוד במים מאוד מאוד חמים ולהערכתי של כ 40 מעלות ואולי אפילו יותר.

5. נודיסטים - קחו בחשבון שלעיתים יש בחוף נודיסטים (להבנתי בעיקר באמצע השבוע) וכל אחד שיעשה את הבחירה אם מתאים לו להיחשף... (או להיצטרף 🤔).

6. ילדים - אפשרי וזו חוויה גם עבורם אך יותר קשה להם מבחינת המים החמים והשריפה של פצעים מים המלח.

7. נוחות - המקום בוסרי וטבעי וזה מה שיפה בו אך צריך להבין שזה לא הכי נוח. מומלץ להביא בקבוקי מים (גם לשתיה וגם לשטוף אחר כך את המים המלוחים). בשעות השמש כדאי להביא גם שמשיה.

8. ניקיון - כשהגענו המקום היה מבריק ! (איך הגיוני ??? כי בדיוק קבוצה ענקית של אנשים טובים ניקו ואספו שם משהו כמו 30 שקיות זבל גדולות שאנשים השאירו 😡).
